I love pearls.
Beyond their beauty, they form when something disruptive, intrusive, and likely uncomfortable for the oyster, slips inside the shell.
A grain of sand can trigger irritation.
We ALL have the opportunity to create pearls of wisdom and growth spurred by the times that test us.
Facing far more than grains of sand, we may traverse deserts, or swim through seas of uncertainty.
When we focus on producing our “pearl,” we remain self-aware and open to the lesson embedded in the experience.
It may not be an easy process, but it can indeed yield something of worth and value.
